Work during CRM workshop
We continued our work on computing L-functions corresponding to Maass forms for higher rank groups. Focus was mainly on extending to congruence subgroups of SL(3,Z). The code was working well by the end of the week and we have computed roughly 20 L-functions which satisfy a functional equation of the same form as that of a Maass form of non-trival level. The L-functions we computed are not self-dual and hence not the symmetric square of a Maass form on a congruence subgroup of SL(2,Z). However, the program also found the symmetric square of several Maass forms on Gamma(2).
